15A FIGURING OUT BUYER BEHAVIOR No. 2

CONSIDERATIONS FOR ALTERNATIVES Many potential customers, especially college-age customers, base their decisions on where to eat on cost and convenience, which are totally understandable.  Many people with families, especially young ones, probably use the same criteria when picking restaurant options.  There may not be too many people who are actually in a position to choose restaurants based on the mission of the organization or the values that it stands for, but I'm hoping that by getting the word out, people would begin to prioritize it a bit more.

FINDINGS/CONCLUSIONS After thinking on it more, I think that most people go for what's easiest/tastiest.  I don't see any reason why my idea can't have the tastiest food, but because of the nature of the mission and circumstances, I don't think it would be the cheapest.

12A FIGURING OUT BUYER BEHAVIOR No. 1

Jacob Koretchko is my first my first interview.

NEED AWARENESSHe said his need for food is most salient at around 12-2pm and again at 6-7pm.

INFORMATION SEARCHWhen he goes out to eat, he said he does not necessarily prioritize local places over chains, but he does look for the type of food in regards to the "ethnicity".  He also looks for "bang for your buck".  He is a growing boi so he needs a lot of food. He said he would be willing to step out of his comfort zone and go to a restaurant like the one I have the idea for, and would be willing to pay a slight premium in support of the cause.  HE thinks it would thrive, and pick up a lot of support quickly.

Nick Simpson

NEED AWARENESS  Nick usually eats around 3pm as his first meal.

INFORMATION SEARCH  Nick usually goes to chains, and frequents Chipotle and Flaco's in Gainesville.  Nick is doubtful that an idea like this would work because the homeless population is sometimes dangerous.  It's a little pessimistic, but an understandable view.

NEED AWARENESS Rachel eats 3 square meals a day and tends to eat a bit more locally than the other people
